We have a passion for hospitality and love bringing people together to enjoy delicious food, warm, impeccable service, and beautiful presentation. With over 15 years of experience, we specialize in social celebrations, meal delivery, corporate catering and gifting, and custom dinner parties. We make each event unique, working directly with you to ensure all of your needs are met. Our founder, Liz has a drive for making catering accessible to everyone. Whether it’s full service events, or simple drop off orders, we’re dedicated to creating an event that works for you and your budget. Our team sources the highest quality ingredients from local farmers markets to prepare seasonal menus. Each dish and cocktail base is customized for every occasion. Liz is the founder and CEO of Sunhouse.
She was born and raised in the Midwest, in an home full of food lovers who treasure family recipes and traditions. A culinary school graduate and cooking competition champ, Liz has over 15 years of experience working as a private chef. Liz has called Chicago home for almost 20 years, and that time has given her the opportunity to discover the best local farmers, cheese makers, and meat producers. Her love of hosting, cooking, and bringing people together with food is what lead her to launch Sunhouse.
